WordPress makes it easy to add an image to your content. With just a few clicks WordPress helps you select and upload a photo to your website. You can even have the image link to another page or website if you like.

Step 1: While writing a post or a page, click the icon shown here to insert an image.

Step 2: Click “Select Files” to locate the images you want from your computer to upload.

Step 3: Click the image on your computer that you want on your website. Click “Select” when you are done. The image will upload and display details automatically. Click “Insert Into Post” to finish

You can change the "Link URL" if you would like the photo to be a link when someone clicks on it. You can also use the options on that page to align the photo, and shrink its display size (this does not make the photo file smaller).

Step 4: Your photo has now been inserted into the content of your post or page.
