Adding the IDX Map search

Adding an IDX search to your site has never been easier. Just create a page in your WordPress website and enter the shortcode [hqidxmap].

Step 1. Create a new page in your WordPress website, and enter the shortcode [hqidxmap]

Just enter the shortcode on this page, any additional content will be ignored and will not appear on the map page.

Step 2. On the right hand side, set the "Page Template" to a template without widget sidebars (ie. "No Sidebars" or "HQ Map Template")

HomeQuest has provided several page templates that you can use. They are located in the HQ IDX plugin directory and can be copied to your current Theme directory.

Step 3. Publish the page, then test out your fully loaded IDX Map search by visiting your website.
