One week from today on Monday November 16, 2009 we are hosting our HomeQuest Open House. Drop in anytime from noon to 4pm at 2211 NW Front St Portland, OR 97209 and get some help with HomeQuest or your IDX website.

Payment and Billing Policy

HomeQuest is a month to month prepaid subscription service that automatically bills your Visa or MasterCard each month (a six month billing increment is also available).

On the day that your bill is due next, our system will automatically use the card we have on file for you and email you a receipt. If a problem occurs, the billing system will email you a notice that it was unable to process your card and it will try again at 9am the next day. The system will try for 15 days before your account will be locked.

Paper billing is not available. Only Visa and MasterCard are accepted. Checks and other credit card types are not accepted.

On The Road to Phoenix — Again!

Well in the air anyway… Last summer 3 of us drove out in a Prius for a 2 day event and met a lot of great people.

This year ARMLS is putting on their first real convention for local Realtors in years. They are calling the event Technopalooza – a technology fair for ARMLS subscribers. There will be 30 vendors there to show off their stuff and some good local and national speakers.

The main event includes a presentation by Dustin Luther on Socal Networking as well as a presentation by Jason Edwards on converting blogging activity into potential clients.

There will also be panel discussion including local agents Jay Thompson, Dru Bloomfield, Jonathan Dalton, and Nick Bastion with an agenda that appears to be heavily weighted toward the use of Social Media in real estate – more info here.

The event is April 22 from 8:30 to 3:45 at the Mesa Convention Center. Hope to see you there.

Hosted IDX sites – Info For Existing Users

Existing HomeQuest users are able to implement the new Real Estate Blogging websites at no extra cost. As existing users you are already using the package described as Pro Marketer on the new site.

If you log in to your HQ account you will see there is a button that will allow you to change an existing template site to the new IDX search version. Go to the websites tab to access your existing sites or add a new site.

Fall RMLS™ Tech Fair is this Friday

ARMLS Tech Fair Was a Success

We are a little late in writing – still recovering from the drive. Just wanted to say thanks to ARMLS for having the tech fair and also thanks to the folks at Westworld for thier tech support. It was nice to meet a few existing HomeQuest subscribers. Hope to see you next year if not sooner.

10 Days to the ARMLS Tech Fair

Its the final count down… Pre-show jitters have set in. We have made our packing list and are checking and re-checking just to make sure we are set for the long drive. We cant wait to meet some of our existing users and show off some things that are in the works. Hope to see you there.

The marketing materials feature is slated for release on Wednesday night.

Our New IDX Search is Coming!

Well the marketing integration has taken a little longer than planned but its working really well and we know it will be a great addition to the application. It will be released next week so keep an eye out for an email announcement and a new “Marketing” tab in the admin area of your account.

We are also putting our IDX property search into beta in the next few weeks and we cant wait to unleash it. We are expanding our listing delivery to offer an IDX type of search to make listings more publicly available. These sites will be offered as an alternative to the template websites that we already offer. More info regarding this release will follow in the coming weeks.

How much easier can it get?

HomeQuest is working on a new feature (at no extra cost of course) that will allow you to order printed marketing materials directly from your account. A new marketing tab is in the works that will allow you to design post cards, door hangers and flyers as well as montlhly mailings to keep in touch with your contacts. You will also have access to an interactive map to “paint your farm” which allows you to select the distribution area for your mailings by drawing it on a map. You may also upload and manage your own mailing lists.

This feature will be available within the next few weeks and will be supported by our relationship with First American Title of Oregon. Though there is no cost for the added functionality, you will be charged by our print partner for any materials ordered.
