The only IDX I've seen use the Bird's Eye view is SearchPoint and it's one of the only outstanding features of their clumsy (but improving) map IDX.

We have experimented with different additions to the map including satellite views and ortho imagery. There are a lot of issues to consider with each vendor of these type of products and we havent found the best fit yet. To date we have created our own mapping system specifically for our own application. There is a possibility that we will switch to one of the popular maps widely used by the public (not mentioning any names) which will make it possible for us to offer some interesting new features.
