The WordPress IDX Plugin from HomeQuest has several requirements for it to operate fully on your WordPress website.
The sites that are hosted with HomeQuest already meet all of the requirements for the plugin, but sites hosted outside of our system might need a few changes here and there to support the plugin.
It is also important to note that mileage may vary and some themes and/or plugins will interfere with the HomeQuest IDX Plugin.
Permissions:
- The “cache” directory under the HQ_IDX plugin folder needs to be writeable. This is important for the speed of the system.
- The scripts stored in the “utilities” folder in the HQ_IDX plugin must have their permissions set to 644
PHP.INI:
- The PHP version on the server must be v5. PHP v4 is not supported.
- allow_url_include must be ON
- allow_url_fopen must be ON
- register_globals must be OFF
