HomeQuest includes a quick and easy “Unsubscribe” link with each Daily Email and Saved Search email. It is important for this to be included so that a client can quickly opt out of receiving more emails. This might happen because they are no longer looking for a home, or they have just completed a purchase or sale. HomeQuest will send you an agent alert email letting you know when a client has unsubscribed from emails. A client that unsubscribes from emails will still remain in your contact list, however there will be indications to you that the client has unsubscribed on their contact page.
Unsubscribing from HomeQuest Emails:
Step 1: In a HomeQuest email, click the “Unsubscribe From These Emails” link underneath the map.
Step 2: After clicking the link, a webpage will load that allows you to choose what to Unsubscribe from. You can select specific areas to unsubscribe from, or Saved Searches. You can also click the big “Remove All” link at the bottom in order to remove yourself from all searches in HomeQuest.
How to tell if a client has clicked the “Unsubscribe” link:
Inside a contacts page, you can see if they have unsubscribed by checking for the word “Disabled” next to the daily email. Next to the Saved Searches it will say “Unsubscribed” as well as the date.
If a client unsubscribed on accident or would like to be back on the list:
In the case that a client accidentally unsubscribed (don’t laugh, it really happens) you can re-subscribe them again. Simply uncheck the “Suspend Daily Reports” opion in the Daily Email section, and check the “Auto Send New Matches” checkbox next to each Saved Search.
